Are you in a healthy relationship ?

Relationships!!!

Did you happen to land on the page because of its title, hoping to get an interesting read? Or was it  the curiosity of an unexpectedly titled post coming from me? If you fall in the first category  you should  read till the end because its something important and if you fall in the second category you have no reasons to leave.

You may be a person in a relationship, doing well!!

Or embarking  a potential one  Nervous!!

or you may be  the one, who is waiting to meet your someone special
If not the above, you must  be the one, who has lost all  hopes to find one
or the one who has actually not given it a thought till now

Whichever category you fall in, you will agree that  we are associated  not only with the special relationship about which we are explicitly concerned,  but are also associated with a number of other strings of relationships in life. We are social beings and bound to be in relation with others; be it be our family, The some one Special",   our friends, our colleagues, our boss or teacher.
The fast moving life of today makes it really difficult to maintain the strings in a healthy condition as they often tend to get entangled all the time.  Out of all strings attached we are more  concerned of some relations than the others and  we should be; after all family and friends are so important,  they are the ones who will see us through our happy & Sad Moments... they are the ones we can count on when everything turns out wrong, they are the one with whom we can share our feelings or celebrate our achievements so its important that we put in effort to keep the strings in healthy state so as to ensure our long lived happiness.

Strings of External relationships tend to entangle

The point of concern here is that while on one hand we do realize the importance of the health of these outward strings in order to keep ourselves happy; on the other hand we completely neglect the most important relationship of all; the relationship with self.
Happiness is an internal affairs it has lot to do with our relationship with the ourselves. Its only if we have the inner string strong, that we can actually succeed in keeping the outward relations in a sound health. Relationship with self is important to keep our personality intact all the time when the external impacts tend to change the way we behave. Its important that we take responsibility of our own happiness by believing its not up-to anyone else to make us happy.Strengthening our self-relationship can make an everlasting change in our lives. It is  not possible to create healthy relationships with others when we are not entirely happy with ourselves. And if this is true, how much time do we spend in knowing ourselves?

Do you think you know yourself more than you know your best friend or your family members? Do you actually know anything more about yourselves other than your basic identity like name, sex, occupation ? And have you ever paid attention to your own feelings and not just others;.. asking yourself How am I feeling ? and why ?

We aspire to be happy, we aspire for better career without actually asking ourselves what do we want? Confused !!! ....are you? The way to get to know ourselves is to spend quality time with ourselves. By spending some time with ourselves we can begin to access our behaviors, our thought-process and determine the endless possibilities of our personal growth.  Our sub-conscious mind does realize what is best for us but sadly we are too busy in the hussel-bussel of life ignoring all indications coming from within.  Knowing ourselves is absolutely important  for maintaining sound outward relations.
The image building process has its foundation in knowing oneself. Its only after we know ourselves that anyone else would know us. There are many things of the famous personalities that are known  to such fine details because they do-not behave randomly. They know themselves and have a healthy relationship with themselves and its only after this that they actually have strong personalities  which we speak of.
You should ask yourself: How am I doing? Am I living up to my commitments? Evaluate yourself after any project/assignment/task. Tell yourself what you could have done better, what you absolutely aced, and what you will do the next time.
As with other things, you have two choices. You can talk yourself into success or failure, into feeling good or bad, thinking positively or negatively. The choice is yours, but you can train yourself to use self-talk as a self-cheering mechanism. It is up to you to decide whether the conversation in your head is helpful or harmful. Remember, you can talk yourself out of negative thoughts.
And if you need more than talk, try a little visualization  too. Seeing yourself as successful, seeing where you want to go, seeing how you want things to be you will get there — add that to your self-talk and you can be invincible.
If brain is computer  You need to program it to motivate yourself. Turn off the autopilot and take control of what you tell your brain to do.
Attitude is everything. You must build up your confidence and positive energy. Focus on the best thing that can happen, not the worst. Too many people talk themselves out of good ideas. Let your thoughts take you where you want to go. And have that healthiest relationship with yourselves. Its only then the other strings will get healthier.
So Are you in a Healthy relationship with Yourself ?

The Wounded warriors of the Economic Battle

A brief about the dilemma of Corporate Leadership

The first and the greatest economic downturn of this century continue to haunt the world like an unbeatable demon. It is over half a decade and the great economic battle of this century continues to take strides both sides. The best of Economist and our Business leaders have been trying to curtail the impact of the Great recession which started in December 2007 and took the world economy sharply down in 2008. As the peaked U.S. Housing bubble of 2006 rip open, the U.S. real estate pricing crashed, resulting in devaluation of securities tied and turning it into global financial turbulence.
The financial crisis of US acted like the first blow to start a chain reaction affecting the entire world economy with greater damage to some countries than others. The cyclonic effect of the recession has been creating the turbulence in the world economy by its own side effects which further deepens the damage and acts as biggest obstacle in complete recovery from the Great Dip.
Major evil forces which are creating the turbulence such as U.S. sub-prime mortgage crisis, European Sovereign debt crisis, trade imbalance & high unemployment which have born out of the recession are completing a chain process to become the biggest obstacle to full recovery from recession.
Global Business leaders & Economist have been fighting a heroic battle, by first curtailing the chain propagation of the Evils and rebuilding the confidence of Economy. For this the Global leaders activated G-20 nations to unite and help each other recover, it was pledged in the Washington summit in 2009 to stop protectionism & have a proper trade balance.  Many countries took a resort to increase interest rates, and cut down on expenses to protect themselves from getting in the grip of the devil.
But while the Global leaders try hitting the devil right at its heart; it has shown lesser mood to loosen its grip. The situation appears melancholy blue with the recession standing tall like the Demon Raktbij who multiplied from its own blood droplets, The only way to kill this devil is to burn the devil with its every drop of blood together.  And this calls for Global business leaders at every front to come together and understand that even as the situation has created pressure of cutting down expenses, the only way to curtail the recession and bring the global economy on track is to create employment and invest in new projects. This may sound illogical in present context but keeping long term eyes and continuing to boost trade and investment is a promising way which can hold back the chain initiators and bring back confidence in the economy.
It is important for the business influential’s to hold their nerves during this phase, and help build confidence of their employees by offering them stability. Avoiding rough decisions of work force trimming, and continuing investment is what would bring back confidence that would pull the market forces upwards.
The present day situations have put a challenging task at the hands of business leaders, who need to channelize young energy of youth in organizational values and ethics. Organizational cultures have strong adhesive force which binds its people and make the organization efficient. Using high standards of ethics and bringing ownership in its workman may save an organization more than what it would ever imagine with any cost cutting. It is well known fact that no organization is free from wastes.
True business leader in today’s scenario would be one who would be able to win the trust of its employee and clients and keep a long term eye. Who would make the ethics and trust the glue of organization. Holding on trustworthy clients and making the business efficient needs to be the focus, to get expense cutting. By eying more operational efficiency organization can continue to invest without loosening its work-force and without any compromises

Woman who inspires me the most

A woman is a wonderful creation of God. Someone once said:

"God could not be everywhere so he created Mothers".

International Women's day is marked on 8th March every year to tender respect appreciation and love towards the most wonderful creation of God, the women. It is a day to celebrate women's economic, political & social achievements and to express the gratitude to the remarkable contribution of women to our lives. A woman is a word that conjures up lot of images in our mind and brings out varied emotions of selfless love, nurturing & caring. She is a women, she is a Mother, a daughter, a wife, a sister or a friend; a women is a complete creation, she has in her power to create, nurture and transform. With such thoughts hovering over my mind I sat to figure out, the woman, who inspired me the most. And my spontaneous single thought reply was My Mother...
Her presence has enlightened my life. She is the one, without whom, I dare not have any existence. I have grown up hearing what she told me, she was born in a village married in a town, was under-looked as outdated, but with her optimism, knowledge & courage won the hearts & respect of everyone. She was a Hindi medium graduate in arts, and  she taught her children in best convent schools by teaching them after learning herself. She could be a role model to anyone as we never went for any tuition even in our senior secondary levels. She is such a perfect example of a way maker for anything she has to do. She wanted us to be studying in best schools but could not afford the tuition so she learned and taught us.
She is a versatile master who becomes a tailor, a tutor, a mason, a painter, she has cooked on chulah, have even paved the floors at home and white washed it all, to make it look good. Her unchallengeable optimism has revived the family a number of times. She took head-on lead when my father got sick & controlled all hard times, but still keeping herself in peace. She often says " Insaan se bada koi kaam nahi.." her readiness to learn makes her a champion computer gamer at age of 52. She experiments with food like a chef and today when we find many of her special dishes in restaurants on dessert table, I just admire her even more. It is just her will, optimism, hard work & readiness to learn that till today I know my mother has solutions to all problems on this earth & so do our neighbours & relatives.
Today when things are all good, and I look back on the way we have walked, I feel proud of my mother who lead us with the support of my  cool composed father. It is  simply astonishing how she has been uttering what most inspirational Gurus teach today. She has been telling us Man has to choose the way of his life not the situations and many more such thoughts as she brought us up. She has no technical background nor has she to her credentials, any management or inspirational training course. But yes she has something much bigger and relevant than any degree or training that is passion to learn and attitude to conquer.

She's an inspiration  for each family member, who has inculcated in us the streak of Optimism & Self-Belief.
She'll remain to be the women who not only inspires me the most but also keeps fascinating me with her capabilities. I owe myself to her, and wish to gain strength from her, at each step of my life.

Fascinating Journey of Exploration Part 1

An expedition to  Dodi Tal & Darwa Top, Western Garhwal.

3rd -12th December, 2012

The Serene surroundings, mighty snow covered mountains, undisturbed dense forests, chirruping birds, gurgling water streams, blissful air and all this away from the worldly presence of humans & their creations; this is how I can possibly describe what I saw during the course of my 10 days out bound leadership training under TSAF (TATA Steel Adventure Foundation) in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand.

This training or rather more of exploring expedition that it was, a wonderful experience of living amidst fascinating creation of God in its original form, the virgin beauty of nature. The expedition is a 10 day affair, first 5 days of acclimatization and next 5 days of trekking from Sangam Chatti Kalyani (a place 18 km from the main city of Uttarkashi)  to Darwa Top(13, 500ft, famous trekking peaks in western Gharwal). We were in total, a group of 37 GETs from TATA Motors Pantnagar plant, and had reached the base camp of TSAF(10 km from Uttarkashi) on 2nd, December, 2012 a place on the bank of Assi Ganga stream.
Most of us were thrilled with the glimpses of the adorable nature we had witnessed on our way to Uttarkashi and around the base camp site. Some of the scenes were so astonishingly beautiful that  I cannot help arguing them to be most beautiful sights probably in the entire universe, indeed heavenly!!!
I can very well recall one such divine view while we crossed the famous Tehri dam at early dawn on  our way to Uttarkashi, the scene is so live in my memories.  If you happen to plan your visit in the month of December I would very strongly recommend you to start at around 11pm from Delhi that let you pass Tehri dam at a time when its one glimpse would make your journey worth.

The View at early dawn of Tehri Dam on way to Uttarkashi. Heavenly indeed!!!

Thrilled and excited with all anticipations of what was coming next, we got down at the base camp after a  long journey of around 480 Kms in Cabs from Gurgaon. But there was hardly any sign of being tired. It was chilling cold weather, although the day had been sunny and bright it was getting very cold in the evening. We were asked to settle with our luggage in the four tents which were already erected, later we came to know that it was permanent base camp of TSAF, we did it quickly and after keeping our luggage came out to enjoy the sight, not forgetting to mention the face-book DPs sights were being discovered and every one was keeping a stock of profile pictures from every angle not to miss any view, the side profile, the face cut and don't know what all .. as if stocking  for whole of our lives. Soon the authorities asked us to gather and there was an address by Mr. R.S.PAL who was our chief instructor he welcomed us to an exciting expedition where we would not only explore the nature but ourselves. We were then issued our essential gears, Rucksack, sleeping bags along with inner, Mess Tin,  Kiwi Bags ( a small hand bag to keep all waste of wrappers etc.), and the Mat. We were told of the tough schedule we had to adhere to and basic instructions which had to be followed from the next day, water needs had to be met from the chilling cold  river stream, waking up at 5:30 am for morning tea, followed by more than an hour of exercise and jogging and strict instruction to keep the lavatory  with Jute purdah clean and tidy.
These instructions started notorious gang talks of the jute purdah toilets and wildest imaginations of mornings in them,  there were laughter busting jokes cracked, some said they would sing others would sit with a dipper torch and some others were more happy to puncture above ideas. The moods were full of energy and mean while it was almost dusk with chilly wind freezing us. We were called up after tea to see a  movie on Madam Bechendri Pal's Everest expedition. By now the notorious instincts were out and so skipping the instructor's  notice one of us fast forwarded the video to finish it in less than one fourth of its time.  Talks and jokes continued of all imaginative conditions of  days to come, till we were in our sleeping bags after dinner.

The valley of the base camp had in its one corner giggling, laughing and excited admirer's of the nature, while the rest of the valley was silent with only the loud gushing music of the flowing stream and a sky with millions of stars shining  bright. This reminded me of my childhood when there were power-cuts at night the sky was similarly so beautiful. We don't get to see such clear bright night sky with millions of twinkling stars now due to pollution.

We woke up next morning which was officially first day of the course by a long whistle, at 5:30 am when morning tea was kept outside our tents. The mornings in a valley are extremely cold and even more worse was to touch water for the daily rituals, ghoshh!!! our hands were numb  as we were rushing to be on time for the morning exercises at 6:30 am. We started jogging up the hill with the  instructor and very soon the whole sky revolved!! it was too much!! we all had no stamina at all. The condition could be imagined with most of us spitting out whites saliva and the whole self acclaimed fitness was sheared apart, but once the stretching part was over it was a satisfactory or rather achievement feeling that made us feel  good for the extra limit we were forced to do.After the exercise it was breakfast time and the  the daily activities began with our welcome on board to the journey of extreme conditions.
The morning exercise had left a major impact on our memories  and so we could not help our emotions and excitement which were on a sine wave with every statement made to us. By now we did realize that it was not mere adventure and fun it was much more than that, we were going to face in the coming days, we were out in real challenging world where we would have fun and adventure but only with lot of determination, courage and difficulties first hand.
The instructors had seen us in the morning exercise and based on there experienced eyes they divided us in five groups with an instructor for each. We were five groups and the task for us was to as soon as possible get ourselves going as a team. Our first team activity at TSAF was the trolley game.
After the game there was day's briefing with the team and instructor we interacted with our instructor Anu Ma'am. Interaction with her made us realize the relevance of the training. She asked us to jot down in a note book our expectations out of this program.
I wrote something similar to : Wish to test my optimism, to see if for my love of nature I would remain happy with the accompanying challenges. I wish to learn to convert my mental strength and use it to stretch my physical powers. I wish to live a life that have  goals followed by challenges, courage and hardwork needed to achieve it and then enjoy celebrating the joy of achieving it.
Towards the end of the day's briefing  we played  dumb-charades of phrases. I can recall the two cards which I had to mime first was "Living in harmony" and  "Keeping to the track" it was innovative style of giving us the messages that we would have never took so seriously as we did when we acted them.
This was all before lunch, after the lunch we were trained to pack our rucksacks and there was a special instruction session for care of Feet. It was during this class the sunlight dimmed away and the evening cold took over.  Before the dinner we had some of us playing antakshri splitting us into singles and committed parties and then after dinner we were fast asleep in our sleeping bags.

Next Morning 4th December, 2012 Tuesday I woke up at 5:15 am, I usually by rule do not take anything without bathing on Tuesdays and Saturdays till I offer prayers to Lord Hanuman ji by reciting Hanuman chalisa following it as a self opted custom from class 10th onwards. Its only when I am in train and its not possible I tend to skip bathing but still recite the Hanuman chalisa before having the first meal of day. This morning was again very cold and the adjacent stream was so freezing cold that hands would get numb, so I was not able to gather enough logical reasons to dip my innocent body in that freezing water at 5:30 am and risking my life in this cold valley,  so I uttered a word of excuse to Hanuman ji (who is so good  I know would surely have excused me) and after brushing and dry cleaning (Dry-cleaning being always better :P)  recited my prayers.
The day after breakfast was the an exciting day when we were to do rappelling or abseiling in modern terms, Flying Fox ( when you slide along a rope hanging from a mountain/hill cliff to the bottom) and the the tough Rock Climbing. This day was full of daring adventure.

Life is just like rock-climbing, in order to grow and achieve higher we need to be very wise in choosing our path. We cannot release our grip below, till we find  proper confidence on our next grip &still have an eye on next place to keep our foot.

The day ended with day's briefing when we sit down with the instructor and the leader of the day jots down in a diary as per his observations his areas of improvement and His Strength. Once the leader is done each member of the team tells these two attributes of the day's leader and also jot them down in the diary. The leader for the next day was also decided in course of the meeting. This part of the training was way important and I liked it for this made me realize the importance of continuous evaluation of ourselves each day of our life and then making necessary efforts to get them in order.  The day then ended with gossips and talks of reactions of each other.

Wednesday morning was my turn to be the Day's leader and I woke up a little early at 4:30 am don't know exactly the reason that made me wake so early but it was probably due to excitement or sens of responsibility but the major playing factor was the nature's call. Trying to behave like a leader I went to tents of my team mates and checked if they were on time and our team members were already self responsible so every one was on time for exercise. The exercises early in the morning and jogging couple of Kms up the hill was again challenging but we were more strong and knew the pleasure it would bring at the end of stretching. After breakfast we had to be briefed about point to point march which was a team game. After the briefing we were thought to read the prismatic compass and to use maps to discover our sights.  We as a team did fail to register any appreciable performance for we did make a mistake right in the beginning we rushed even before we knew where our our first step was. While Drishti was still checking and spotting the target our team members rushed guessing the target to win fast and save time.
I still have a view that had we been patient a little for 30 more seconds we would have done much better. But the incident did teach big lesson of life, it is something most of us do. we all hunt for shortcuts to success and skip impatiently some steps and the result is we waste a lot of time and energy and finally either quit of irritation of start doing the steps we skipped.

After point to Point march we did learn  to make shelter of survival tents. We learned to tie knots. I can recall we were taught  to tie 1. Clove Knot , 2. Reef Knot, 3.Fisher man Knot, and  4.Thumb Knot but don't know which all would I still be able to tie correctly. The practical knowledge of these knots could be life saving in case we are left to survive. Even if not in jungle the knots would be of great help in day to day needs as well.
The second half of the day after lunch was too exciting,  we were to be out on a survival night in a jungle where we were supposed to erect our own tents and unlike other days would have to cook our own dinner on firewood that we wood search. water also had to be searched.
So After Lunch we left at around 2:00 pm in bright sun for the jungle camp with our rucksacks containing sleeping bags, utensils and ration for the day on our backs, it was heavy. The way to the Jungle camp site was too arduous it was 60 to 80 degree incline.with rolling stones and tough passes. To be very truthful it took everything out of us. Such was the exertion that the body started giving up, sun rolled in front of our eyes and the clothes we wore were all wet with sweat. It took nearly 2 hours of continuous brisk walk to reach the jungle camping site. I remember me and one of my teammate threw our rucksacks as we reached and fell on it like a dying convict who has been shot with number of bullets.
It took some time before we regained normal breath and collected all courage to start hunting for the fire wood and prepare for the dinner.

Humanity & brotherhood is still alive!!!

  (Written in November-2008)

This story is  a true incident, which is frequently witnessed, everyday, and almost everywhere. Trying to tell each one of us humanity has not yet reached an ultimate end. There is enough of it still left, one only needs to look with those searching eyes.
Boys from across the country and a few from the neighboring  countries  all gather to begin their career in a complete  new place ,where  there are only strange faces, all unknowns ,they then start  gathering  their world, new relations of friendship is born and trust grows between them.
No wonders ,this was also the story at NIT Jamshedpur ,for the year 2008,where students  from across the country had come to frame their future in engineering disciplines ,most of them stepping outside their houses for the first time with unknown fears in mind and also a joy !!...
It was 27th  November ,2008 only three months since the session had begun ,and there was a  joy in the boys of hostel D- "Rajendra Prasad  Hall Of Residence". Joy, because they all were eagerly waiting for Dinesh chand’s birthday ,the guy who is properly known as ‘D.C no. 17’ the footballer among his batch-mates ,as the watches in the rooms were ticking close to 12:00 am , excitement was increasing ,almost everyone  in the hostel knew the guy was going to turn 18 in next few minutes. This excitement was not because he was someone special, but because in hostels everyone is same and yes still special.
I and my other two roommates Sitanshu and Abhishek were also eagerly staring at the watches, but as the end semester exams were beginning from 1st so we had books resting before our eyes. As soon as the watch ticked the last second of 27th Nov. Crowd of boys were outside Dinesh’s  room to wish him happy birthday ,Sitanshu my roommate too ran to wish Dinesh but he was on his mobile someone was wishing him, and in the crowd nothing was clearly audible ,sitanshu was already late in wishing so he went into dinesh’s room ran out and shouted ”Happy Birthday Dinesh,,……
Troubled and fed up of  pleading to keep quite so that he could listen clearly on phone dinesh blasted off in anger on sitanshu the one standing in front of him as he turned. This shook sitanshu who was left out of words  ,his joy melted ,his emotions squeezed, his self respect hurt. He left the room and as if lost everything he went to his room and locked it from inside.
By the time DC’s birthday cake was all well placed in the common room, and full hostel was waiting to blow the candles and cut the cake. I knew nothing about what had happened b/w sitanshu and DC ,but when I saw sitanshu running to room I got something was wrong, Dinesh came running to me and told me the complete story he was extremely regretful everyone wanted DC to cut the cake .But he was now feeling guilty sitanshu was locked inside. DC refused to cut the cake without sitanshu .He and I insisted and knocked the door repeatedly but no response ,I peeped into the window and found a boy who trying to console himself ,because his wall of trust was shaken ,at that very instance I realized what a love and trust we all develop among ourselves that single hurt to that trust shakes our senses and make us feel  lonely back again like the first day when we entered here when we were from Uttrakhand ,when we were from U.P.,when we were from Rajasthan ,Andra Pradesh ,kerala Jharkhand or Srilanka.
But now we are from no other place but from family of NIT Jamshedpur. In hostel dinesh apologized and then every one together celebrated DC ‘s B’Day. But do we trust people the same way outside also?
Is’nt this very small incident  enough  to make the society realize that the world is not completely emotionless. Feelings are not completely dead ,humanity is still alive we only need to discover it and grow it. We need to realize that trust is what link the mankind, we should respect other’s feeling and never hurt it, knowingly or unknowingly .
We need to forget all our differences, society can tie up like the boys in the hostel only when people forget their religion, caste ,creed, colour, sex, standard, ego   or any other difference and then only we can live in a world of love and trust where people would care for the unknown .
otherwise we are already in a world where we are alone in a crowd ,where no one is ours ,no one cares for us in the crowd of a billion lord I am alone!!........................

Sitanshu After he came out of the locked room Expression Speak everything :)

The essence of the poem to compare life with river goes deep in understanding the basic flow behavious of life. The various cities on way of Ganga are similar to various civilizations or Eras... the outlook of life may change but the basics of it and its flow remain the same. So to lead a meaningful life we can simply ask our self do our beliefs our Goals & aims would have made sens in all other Eras and centuries when there were no industries, no Metros but Life still existed If answer is Yes then we are on the right path :) because fundamental direction of flow of a meaningful life does not change with the civilizations and eras just like Ganga Always flow towards the Ocean irrespective of the City which comes along its shore.

An Open Letter to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal & Leadres of Anti Corruption Movement

Dear Sir,
I am one out of the billion Indians whose blood boils to see the currents state of affairs of the country & the  adamant political leadership. I am a fresh college pass-out who has just stepped into the professional world to begin his career and who sees in front of him in the current Anti Corruption movement a hope of a better India.
I like another hundreds of thousands of young energetic youth of the country have been carefully observing the role of India Against Corruption through a birds eye view in shaping the face of new India.

My observations and  correlations are result of digging deep into the thoughts and trying to see everything in a holistic view. The main motive of this retrospection and the analysis of the state of affairs in the current scenario is to throw some light on still bigger picture & future results of this biggest movement ever in the history of Independent India.

The way in which the movement has taken striding sharp turns, the situation in present  appears to be melancholy blue. Anna Hazare and Kiran Bedi have separated their paths to a common destiny, While you, and a few other major cogs in the wheel have chosen to fight for the cause through direct electoral politics.

I see a remarkable amount of correlation of this movement to  the freedom struggle and the utterly bitter part is the movement as in its current state appears to be the Revolution of 1857 being repeated. Its now important to see the similarity in the two major revolutions for comparisons and learning and to make important decisions to turn the movement to a better ending.
The  first  similarity is in the event of being the debut major movements to mark  the first  fight against a grown disorder in power and dominant unjust practices. While the revolution of 1857 was against the East India Company and its practices forced on Indian masses, the IAC is a voice against the prevailing paralysis of the system  due to Corruption and its enforcement by habit and adamant attitude of the rulers. Second similarity is in the optimism and strong belief this movement has raised in the heart of a billion Indians, a vision of a better tomorrow. The movement has been extremely successful in motivating common man to raise their voice against current prevailing system around him. It has hence just like the revolution of 1857 lighted a lamp of hope in the heart of lost and depressed masses.
Third major similarity  of the two movements is in the way of fighting,  while the leaders of 1857 tried to take the fight head-on with extreme courage and patriotism, your ongoing exposing sequence  seem to be a head-on collision, a mission against all corrupt political leaders and parties. The strength of character and courage you and your team have projected is enormous and has definitely outplayed and kept the corrupt politicians on back foot but its important to realize that this head-on fight has also made the movement vulnerable of attacks from all directions.  Here its important to note that while the motive and courage of the movement remain to be pious but  point is battles are won by a blend of  strategic planning, courage and unaltered perspiration  and not shear courage.
With these striking similarities I fear the destination of the two movements to be similar. Its important we learn from the mistakes of history and change the path of the movement a little not repeating the same mistakes. The four major causes of failure of the Movement of 1857 were 1. Lack of unity and cohesion, 2.The rising was not widespread, 3.No common aims and ideals, 4.Lack of discipline, resources and organization

And sadly the four mistakes of 1857 are also the weakness of the IAC movement. Firstly lack of unity and cohesion is clearly visible with Anna Hazare & Kiran Bedi taking the different route. Why do not we realize the movement is bigger than any one of us? That its not an individual target or achievement no one here is fighting for oneself rather we all are fighting for all of us, then how is parting justified. Don't we tend to learn from mistakes of history. Here I feel Gandhi ji was who knew this and he kept the bigger picture always in his mind in the later successful freedom movement. We need to incorporate unity as Gandhi gave to second freedom movement.
Secondly The rising in 1857 was not wide spread and its started at premature state before the planned date the regular expose of a political leader seems to be an act lead more by adrenalin and  less by planning as the results gained out of it have not been thought of. We need to again insure we have reached the ground levels have motivated and carried people together before calling the final attack. For this lot of work needs to be done. People, for this noble cause have to be encouraged and brought in front to take lead. This is different from simple one time gathering at fasting sites. We need to motivate people and erect leaders with good cause at grass root level. Once we do this big home work the battle is half won. Gandhi ji did this in the second freedom struggle he was a big strategist.
Thirdly IAC has to make one simple sentence as their AIM/VISION not a compound/ complex sentence or a paragraph with number of clauses. The Aim can be just one,  rest everything must come under it. Remember we had such a vision in second freedom struggle when congress declared Purna Swaraj as their ultimate goal. We need such a Common Goal today which could be easily understood  even by illiterate.
Lastly lack of Discipline resources and organization yes IAC has been very successful but uphill the task ahead,  its  preparations are comparatively still weaker, There are still very handful of people who are taking the lead,  while maximum have made a stand that they  would support not move in to it. Its the responsibility of the drivers of the movement to make proper organization of the supporters and bring those just supporting into action. We need to be more organized, disciplined in conducting regular strengthening meetings with a grip and increasing our resources before we open our final attacks.

Its only with these flaws rectified I see a definite success of the IAC movement else this movement would also be remembered in history just for learning lessons. I Would have been bitter but very truly analytical and logical.
